Another new recipe from The Hummingbird Bakery – Cake Days cookbook.. hot chocolate cupcakes. The recipe calls for instant hot chocolate powder, so they really are hot chocolate flavoured cupcakes. The new Hummingbird Bakery – Cake Days cookbook arrived today! It’s got 100 recipes for cakes, cupcakes, pies, tarts, whoopie pies etc.. cannot wait to get started on these recipes!
I’m going to attempt to make as many of the recipes as I can.. maybe not the full 100, but I’ll see what I can manage.

I spent an afternoon baking with my cousin Sophie (Hi Soph!) and we made some chocolate brownies from The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook. I’ve made these brownies before, but this was probably the best they have ever turned out – for once, it wasn’t too gooey in the centre and we could actually slice it up instead of eating it straight out of the baking tray.
